All those who are above 12-year-old can make an enrollment to be a member of Eastern Miles through the following way free of charge.All those who are between 2 and 11 can register as Flying Explorer via website of Eastern Miles.

1. To enroll online: to fill in forms on the website of Eastern Miles and make an application online;
   Now successfully enroll online and make points earning record for the first time can earn extra 500 Eastern Miles points.
   
   If you apply for Eastern Miles membership between July 8, 2009 and December 31, 2009, and take flights operated by China Eastern Airlines of First Class, Business class, or eligible Economy class (Y/K/B/E/H/L/M/N/R/S/V/T) during the same period, you will be awarded with extra 800 Eastern Miles points.
   
   If you apply for Eastern Miles membership between July 8, 2009 and December 31, 2009, and take flights operated by China Eastern Airlines of First Class, Business class, or eligible Economy class (Y/K/B/E/H/L/M/N/R/S/V/T) between July 8, 2009 and January 31, 2010 , you can entry into the big lucky draw event to win 10,000 Eastern Miles points (1000 persons each month). The winner list will be published on Eastern Miles website on 16 of every month while the 10,000 points will be credited into your account on the same day.
   
   
2. To enroll at a designated service network: to completely fill in forms at a designated service network of Eastern Miles and make an application;

• An initial password is set for each member of Eastern Miles. When you use points for redemption, you must provide the password.
• For members who enroll online, the password is a number set by themselves. If the enrollment is made by other ways, the initial password of the account is set as the last six digits of the number of document used for enrollment (not including letters and signs). If the number of document is less than six digits, “0” should be added in front.After receiving the card from Eastern Miles, members should change the password on the website of Eastern Miles to ensure safety of account.

[Tiers of VIP ]
According to the difference on the amount of Elite Points, VIP membership of Eastern Miles can be divided into two tiers: Golden Card membership and Silver Card membership. The more frequent your flight times are, the higher your tier will be and the more preference you will enjoy. Member can be upgraded to VIP members with corresponding tier as far as they have accumulated the Elite Points or Elite Times required in successive 24 calendar months.
