taking MU flights, newly adjusted Frequent Flyer Program
rules have raised the proportion of points accumulated from
First Class, Business Class and Economy Class full-price
tickets, and class classification related to points tends

point accrual rules for frequent flyers, Eastern Miles members
taking First Class can get 200% as point-accumulation ratio
(average increase amplitude reaching 38% compared with previous
point-accumulation ratio), those taking Business Class can get
150% as accumulation ratio (average increase amplitude reaching
20% compared with previous point-accumulation ratio), and those
taking Economy Class with full-price ticket can get 125% as
accumulation ratio (average increase amplitude reaching 25%
compared with previous Y class accumulation ratio), which are
currently the most preferential frequent flyer point-accumulation
ratios. |

| According to the adjusted point accrual rules for frequent
flyers, Eastern Miles members taking MU routes with TPM less
than 300 km can enjoy the points for the minimum TPM as 300
km. For instance, if a member takes MU flight of Shanghai-Ningbo
with full-price Economy Class (Y ), the accumulated points are:
300 (Minimum TPM)ˇÁ125%=375 Eastern Miles points, with accumulation
ratio increase amplitude reaching 150% compared with original
ratio. |

| [Point Redemption] |
Area division and redeeming ratio for MU flight reward of
Eastern Miles point redemption have been adjusted based on actual
demand. The points for Hongkong routes are redeemed with the
standard for domestic routes. The point requirement on Shanghai-Hongkong
single trip is lowered from original 28000 points to 16000 points.
Based on actual demand, the area division for MU flight reward
of point redemption in the new Frequent Flyer Program rules
has been adjusted from original A (including A1-A6), B, C, D
to A (including A1-A4), B, C, D. And some adjustments have been
made on the redemption standard as indicated below. |

| According to the adjusted frequent flyer program rules, Eastern
Miles has introduced the concepts of ˇ°Elite Pointsˇ± and ˇ°Elite
Timesˇ±. ˇ°Elite Pointsˇ± are the points accumulated when a member
takes eligible MU flights. The points are accumulatively calculated
in successive 24 months and determine if you can become a VIP
member. ˇ°Elite Timesˇ± are the times for which a member has taken
eligible MU flights, in which one Elite Time obtained from buying
F/P Class is calculated as two times, and one time from C/J
Class as 1.5 times. The Elite Times are accumulatively calculated
in successive 24 months and determine if you can become a VIP
member. A member can be upgraded to a VIP member with corresponding
class as far as he has accumulated Elite Points and Elite Times
in successive 24 months as indicated below. |

adjusted rules on Eastern Miles point reward, period of validity
for VIP membership is adjusted from previous 12 months to 24
months, and one month is reserved for card mailing, i.e. VIP
members can enjoy maximum 25 months for period of validity.
Meanwhile VIP membership status upgrade is more preferential.
According to the new definition of ˇ°Elite Pointsˇ± and ˇ°Elite
Timesˇ±, if you are a business traveler who frequently take MU
flights via First Class, Business Class, to be upgraded to Eastern
