Event One:
Between July 4, 2008 and October 6, 2008 (subject to flight date), "Eastern Miles" members who take China Eastern Airlines and China Airlines and meet the following conditions are entitled to double "Eastern Miles" bonus point.
Flights applicable to Event One:
China Eastern Airlines: Hong Kong - To 14 destinations in Mainland China (namely: Shanghai, Fuzhou, Wuxi, Ningbo, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Jinan, Kunming, Xi'an, Wenzhou, Nanchang, Hefei, Taiyuan) (vice versa)
China Airlines: Taipei - To Hong Kong, Kaohsiung - To Hong Kong (vice versa)

Event Two:
Between July 4, 2008 and October 6, 2008 (subject to flight date), "Eastern Miles" members who take Mainland-Taiwan non-stop charter flights of China Eastern Airlines or China Airlines are entitled to win double mileage.

China Airlines: Taipei 【Tao Yuan】-To Shanghai 【Pudong】, Taipei【Tao Yuan】-To Beijing, Taipei 【Tao Yuan】 -To Guangzhou (vice versa)

Applicable class and accumulated bonus point percentage:

Double bonus point calculation method:
Based on the sold seat class printed on flight ticket, a bonus of double the normal entitled bonus points is available. Please note, Group Class (W Class) and Special Class (Z Class) of China Airlines are entitled to 60% of basic mileage during the event period.

Example:
Example One: "Eastern Miles" member who takes China Eastern Airlines Shanghai Pudong - Hong Kong - Taipei section with J Class ticket is entitled to 5,866 bonus points for one-way flight (including extra bonus points).
Shanghai Pudong - Hong Kong       J Class is entitled to 3732 bonus points (=1244 x 1.5 x 2)
Hong Kong - Taipei                            J Class is entitled to 2134 bonus points (=821 x 1.3 x 2)
Example Two: "Eastern Miles" member who takes China Eastern Airlines Shanghai Pudong - Taipei nonstop charter flight with M class ticket is entitled to 3,305 bonus points for one-way flight (including extra bonus points).
(China Eastern Airlines) Shanghai Pudong - Taipei Tao Yuan      M Class is entitled to 3,305 bonus points (=2066 x 0.8 x 2)
Example Three: "Eastern Miles" member who takes China Eastern Airlines Shanghai Pudong - Taipei nonstop charter flight with Z or W Class ticket is entitled to 3,305 bonus points for one-way flight (including extra bonus points).
