To further expand the northwest market, since June 19th, 2007, China Eastern Airlines has launched new service of Xi'an-Xining- Golmud via flight No. MU2279, Airbus A319, which departs from Xi'an at 07:55 and arrives in Xining at 09:15, departs from Xining at 10:00 and arrives in Golmud at 11:05. Return flight (No. MU2280) departs from Golmud at 12:10 and arrives in Nining at 13:00, and departs from Nining at 13:50 and arrives in Xi'an at 15:05, available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week.

Starting from July, Airbus A330 will be used for Xi'an-Beijing route every day. Beijing MU2101 Flight departs from Xi'an at 10:50 and arrives in Beijing at 12:30. MU2105 Flight departs from Xi'an at 19:55 and arrives in Beijing at 21:30, available 7 days each week.
