In order to ensure flight transport safety, to provide safe flight transport service air for Beijing Olympic Games, CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) recently has further adopted special flight security measures on the basis of already enforced flight safety inspection actions. These measures include: Increased frequency of opening passenger hand luggage for inspection and manual personal checking, if necessary dual inspection with both apparatus and manual check can be enforced; passengers taking domestic flight are forbidden to carry liquids, which can be consigned as checked luggage. Meanwhile, passengers can carry small amount of cosmetics for self use, but only one item of each type is allowed and the capacity of the container must not exceed 100ml, to be placed in separate bags and are subject to security checks. Passengers with infants may apply to airlines for free liquid milk products to be served on board the aircraft while purchasing tickets; passengers with diabetes or other illness may carry necessary liquid medicines provided that these medicines can pass security check and shall be kept in the custody of cabin crew members; passengers taking international and regional flights are still subject to related regulations as prescribed in Public Notice published by CAAC on March 17, 2007; regulations on inspection exemption and courteous treatment shall be strictly enforced, and cancellation of passenger boarding passage including "Easy Boarding" which involve potential safety hazards.
