To ensure safe and smooth air service, recently the Civil Aviation Administration of China has reaffirmed the enforcement of regulations on strictly limiting the quantity of onboard articles for domestic flights: from May 1st, 2008, first class passengers can take with them 2 articles each, business and economy class passengers can take with them only 1 article each; the measurement for each article should be within 20×40×55cm limits, and the total weight of the above two articles should be within 5kg limits. Articles beyond the limits of quantity, weight and measurement should accordingly be consigned as registered luggage.
