To cooperate with Strategy of Development on West China and accelerate development of social career on education, hygiene, agricultural technology and poverty striking in west China, relevant units such as Shanghai Youth Volunteer Association, Personnel Matters Bureau of Shanghai City, Financial Bureau of Shanghai City, etc. jointly implement "Plan on Serving West China by Shanghai University Student Volunteers". In the course of plan implementation, university students drawing just several hundreds of subsidy come to stay in the countryside of poor areas in west China. They work at their utmost under hard conditions and strive with various difficulties. There come forth many moving and inspiring stories about them.
