Description on Point-accumulation in Taking Flights
- Points accumulated via taking flights of Cathay Pacific
Airways will not be taken as the upgrade points of Eastern
Miles, but be used for consumption.
- Points accumulated via taking flights of Cathay Pacific
Airways will not benefit from any extra point reward or
gold and silver card members¡¯ preferential treatment of
Eastern Miles.
- Frequent flyer members can just use one kind of membership
identity and participate in one kind of frequent flyer program.
Once the seat is verified, Eastern Miles will not accept
the requirement that the points of Eastern Miles shall be
transferred to other frequent flyer programs.
- Points accumulated from taking flights before becoming
a registered member of Eastern Miles will not be compensated.

[Exchanging Free Tickets by Using Accumulated Points]
Members of Eastern Miles can exchange free single-trip or round-trip
tickets of regular flights actually operated by Cathay Pacific Airways
using their accumulated points in the account of Eastern Miles,
not including code share flights based on cooperation between Cathay

Free Tickets with Points
- Cabins for seat verification of free tickets of Cathay
Pacific Airways: Z stands for first class, U for business
class and X for economic class.
- The seat verification of free tickets of Cathay Pacific
Airways must be applied for via China Eastern Airlines.
And the way of exchange shall be performed based on regulation
for free ticket-exchange of Eastern Miles. After the seat
of a free ticket of Cathay Pacific Airways is verified,
flight or date can be changed without additional charge,
but the seat verification must be reapplied for.
- None of free tickets validated can be transferred. Once
validated, the flight can not be changed and the tickets
can not be refunded.
- None of free tickets validated can get points of Eastern
Miles accumulated.
