[General Conditions]
Eastern Miles members can earn mileage points by taking the flight of China Airlines. Meanwhile, you can redeem your Eastern Miles mileage points for any international flight ticket of China Airlines.

[Earn Points]
Eastern Miles members can earn mileage points by taking eligible flight of China Airlines, including all international airlines (including additional flights) of China Airlines, but excluding the charter flights and airlines operated by other airline companies. The applicable cabin classes and ratios of mileage points are as follows:

Starting from October 26, 2008 (subject to actual flight taking date), the percentage of mileage accumulation for China Airlines will undergo the following changes:

  1. Newly add "V" and "W" class on all flights of China Airlines, the percentage of mileage accumulation is 80%.
  2. Mileage accumulation percentage for "H" Class on Hong Kong flight route is adjusted to 60%, the mileage accumulation percentage of "L" and "X" Class is adjusted to 0%. (Previous 80% accumulation for H Class, and 60% accumulation for X/L Class on flights of Taipei/Kaohsiung – Hong Kong route will no longer apply)

    • Notes: 1 mile =1.609 kilometers

    1. Points earned by taking flights of China Airlines can only be used for consumption, and cannot be deemed as upgrade points of Eastern Miles membership.
    2. Points earned by taking flights of China Airlines will not be considered for any bonus points of Eastern Miles members or preferential treatment for golden and sliver card members of Eastern Miles.
    3. Any member of Frequent Flyer Program can use only one kind of membership and enjoy only one kind of Frequent Flyer Program. Upon reservation, no transfer of points of Eastern Miles to any other Frequent Flyer Program is accepted by Eastern Miles.
 
[Redeem Points]
Eastern Miles members can also redeem Eastern Miles mileage points for free tickets of regular flights operated by China Airlines, not including special flights, charter flights and code share flights operated by other airline companies.

Notes:

  • Cabin codes of China Airlines for free ticket booking: E for first class, O for business class, and S for economy class.
  • Free ticket of China Airlines should be booked via China Eastern Airlines according the free ticket redemption provisions of China Eastern Airlines. Change of flight number or flight date is allowed for the free ticket of China Airlines after booking without any additional charge.
  • One open jaw is allowed for the free-ticket route of China Airlines.
  • Free ticket of China Airlines cannot be used in the Blackout Dates.
  • All issued free tickets of China Airlines China are not transferable; no flight number change or ticket refund is allowed upon use.
  • No Eastern Miles points will be earned from any issued free tickets of China Airlines.
