Established on January 1st 2006, Topone Car Rental Company Ltd. is the first enterprise engaged in domestic chain car rental business by means of brand-new mode. Different from traditional car rental industry in China, Topone learnt from internationalized chain car rental mode, taking the lead to introduce the advanced mode of chain operation, renting car by means of credit car, free from guarantee and deposit, which greatly cut down the consumption threshold of car and injected new vigor to the traditional car rental sector.

It adheres to popularized service consumption mode, fast, professional and people-oriented. Topone created the car rental mode of “two certificates plus one card”, namely renting a car with ID card and driving license plus credit card, thoroughly breaking through the barrier of the traditional car rental sector in China. Top has a nationwide network of car rental service, having truly built a seamless linking network for travelling and business trip: customer can rent and return a car in any store in any city. Besides, Topone has made constant efforts in facilitating people's travelling in new ways in China by providing the all-around and complete insurance, nationwide store network and telephone reservation service, advanced reservation and settling system, diversified brand-new auto-gear vehicle, and considerate membership service.

In December 2006, Topone acquired the first investment worthy of 5 million U.S. dollars from SIG Asia and Hong Kong Mada Fund; and in December 2007, they invested 50 million U.S. dollars for the second time.

In June 2007, Topone and Merchant’s Bank jointly issued Topone-MB co-brander credit card; in April 2008, Topone became the sole partner designated by Merchant’s Bank platinum credit card project. At the same time, it established close partnership relationship with Industrial and Commercial Bank, Construction Bank, Minsheng Bank and Everybright Bank and Unionpay, providing superior terminal experience service for a wide range of credit card consumers; Topone has continued its cooperation with China Southern Air and Pingan Insurance. In addition to Airchina, Topone has successively become a partner with domestic airline giants such as China Southern Air and China Eastern Air for car rental. Meanwhile, Topone is further deepening cooperation with such airlines as Shenzhen Air, Shanghai Air, and Southern Air.

So far, Topone has established more than one hundred car rental stores one after another in airport, dock, bus station, business downtown and tourist scenic area in more than 30 commercial and tourist cities covering Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, having nearly 500 000 members. In the next three years, Topone’s direct marketing network coverage will exceed 200 cities with the number of direct marketing stores exceeding 2000, and that of self-owned car-rental vehicles 30 000.
